A current trend in mens earrings is plugs. In lieu of a tiny post which you would thread through your ear, some men have taken the alternate approach to wearing thick discs within the skin of their ears. You can choose a small gauge plug, just larger than a normal earring post, and gradually increase the size at your caution!
